In Supported Independent Living, Elka Healthcare Services Australia assists our participants with tasks of daily living to support and promote independence. We adapt to individualised, person-centred care that is tailor-made to support participants’ needs, goals, and choices.
Our aim is to help you live as independently as possible while building your daily living skills such as cleaning, medication management, and food preparation. Funding for Supported Independent Living
Supported Independent Living (SIL) is a shared housing arrangement for two to seven NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme) members who receive in-home disability support services that are specifically tailored around their needs.
SIL provides assistance to people with disabilities who require it for daily tasks. Every SIL resident receives a separate budget, and that budget reflects both their individual and communal support at home.
